Being a costal province has made a great influence in the cuisine of Marbella, which includes a great variety of seafood. Some of the most typical dishes are Shrimps in all variations, roasted or boiled, fried fish (Pescaito Frito), Chanquetes (a small fish in the anchovy family), boquerones in vinagre (also a small fish which has been marinated in vinegar for a day) and the famous "Espetos de sardinas", fresh sardines grilled over a fire on a stick (in old boats turned into barbeques) that has a delicious taste.

Apart from seafood Marbella and the rest of Andalusia are probably most known for the cold vegetal soup Gazpacho. Gazpacho is a very refreshing dish mainly served during the summer and is made by fresh blended vegetables.

Our Recommendations:

- Villalobos restaurant, good Andalusian cuisine, very close to the house, you can go for a short walk.


- If you want to have a good “espeto de sardinas” the best option is Chiringuito La Guayaba, beside the seaside in San Pedro’s beach.

- To have a good rice or paella we recommend La Taberna del Alabardero, they are specialist and cook a black rice absolutely delicious.

- If you are visiting San Pedro we recommend Pasen y Caten, creative cuisine at a very good price or La Despensa, Mediterranean home cooking.

- If you want to have something light, a sandwich or a good salad, in Passion Cafe or Pub Lennon you will be quite satisfied.

- And for a romantic evening, nothing better than  Restaurante El Relicario, the food is delicious and the decoration is worth seeing.
